If you're going to collect airsoft guns, there's one piece that's pretty much a staple, the JAC BattleMaster. This gun was to airsoft what a concept car was to automobiles. This was the first airsoft gun to have full automatic fire. This was produced by the then-revolutionary BV (Bullet Valve) system.
As you can see this little jewel is pretty bare-bones. But as I said it was a concept gun. The system was later integrated into some of JAC's other guns, like the Uzi and M3A1. Those used standard magazines but this gun loaded with a tube on top, but it wasn't meant to look realistic or even pretty, it was to show ful auto could be done. It's a neat piece of history, and definitely a great conversation piece if anything else.
