The BattleMaster

If you're going to collect airsoft guns, there's one piece that's pretty much a staple, the JAC BattleMaster. This gun was to airsoft what a concept car was to automobiles. This was the first airsoft gun to have full automatic fire. This was produced by the then-revolutionary BV (Bullet Valve) system.

As you can see this little jewel is pretty bare-bones. But as I said it was a concept gun. The system was later integrated into some of JAC's other guns, like the Uzi and M3A1. Those used standard magazines but this gun loaded with a tube on top, but it wasn't meant to look realistic or even pretty, it was to show ful auto could be done. It's a neat piece of history, and definitely a great conversation piece if anything else.

First Entry

Welcome to my blog on classic airsoft guns. This is my first blog period so cut me some slack.

This blog will document my collecting of old and rare airsoft guns from around the world. I've been donig this for awhile and have amassed a sizable collection. I'm always interested in items that are old, rare, or just plain unique.
